Glendinning manufacture and supply a wide variety of dense blocks (concrete masonry units) suitable for internal or external walls and foundations in a range of construction projects such as housing developments and commercial buildings. All concrete blocks are produced to rigorous standards in a semi-automated production facility at Ashburton to meet BS EN 771-3 special category of manufacturing control of structural units.
Our concrete blocks are manufactured only with the highest quality limestone ingredients to produce units with a wide range of recognised dimensions and compressive strengths. When utilised for wall and floor constructions the units can meet the requirements of the Building Regulations Part L, for sound and thermal insulation respectively. Standard blocks provide an excellent background for fixings and for plastering or rendering whilst close textured blocks give a fine texture consistency suitable for direct painting.
