In this instance, the client rang the office to see whether we were able to replace a gravel driveway. We went out to see the drive, which is a long approach to a private house and then provided our customer with a quotation to undertake the work. On approval of the price, we broke out the existing surface, replaced the sub-base and then surfaced the drive with asphalt and finished the job with pre-cast concrete flattened edging kerbs.
