Case Study: Lympstone Cycle Path

The Lympstone Cycle Path is one section of a path which is ultimately intended to reach from Exmouth, up to Countess Wear and then down to Dawlish. Glendinning Contracting has completed a couple of sections of this path, one at Starcross and one at Lympstone. The path, which runs along the estuary uses Glendinning's recycled asphalt product, Enviromat™ and presented some challenges during construction, requiring, as it did, liaison with both Network Rail (as the path is adjacent to the railway line) and also the RSPB as the site is right on the edge of the estuary.
