What stone should I put on my drive?

Most people use a 6/14mm single size. We supply a limestone material and being a naturally quarried product colour can vary depending on which area of the quarry we are working at the time.  Please call the sales team for more practical advice.

Can you supply a grading certificate for your recycled sustainable materials?

Yes please contact our sales or technical teams.

What aggregate and sand do I need for making concrete?

We can supply 0/20mm sand all in (ballast) and also bags of cement.

What material do I need to lay brick paviors?

Devon County Council specify a “Wareham Grit” sand for adopted works, we can supply this or alternatively a 0/4 (M) Blended Sand using locally sourced materials.

What material do I need to lay paving slabs on?

Either a pre-mixed bedding screed which we can provide, or site mixed mortar to a ratio of 4 parts sand, 1 part cement.

How much walling stone will I need?

1 tonne of our walling stone generally cover 2 square metres.  Approximately 10% should be allowed for wastage and this is generally used to back fill.

Do you deliver on Saturdays?

We do deliver on Saturdays but please give plenty of notice.

Is there a discount for large quantities?

Please phone the sales team for a quotation.

How can I pay?

We can take card details over the phone and complete the transaction when the material is weighed out over our weighbridge. We do not accept cheques.
