Agricultural Lime

Through many years of scientific research and practical farming application the benefits of using agricultural lime has been verified and is widely recognised as essential to improving crop yields.

Agricultural Lime is vital to promote the bacterial action which is required to rot down plant detritus into useful crop fertiliser.

Unlike limestone dust the quality Agricultural Lime we supply is accepted throughout the industry as being of the highest standard.

Lime produced at Glendinning's Linhay Hill Quarry is of high quality and has a neutralising value of 53% and a fineness of 46% through a 150 micron sieve and complies with the Fertiliser Regulations specification for ground limestone.

Agricultural lime continues to be used quite widely by the farming community and we supply many farmers direct and others through outlets such as Mole Valley Farmers and Mole Avon.
